These Writ Petitions are filed questioning the action of the respondent authorities in not considering the application submitted by the petitioners seeking reference to the authority under Secticn 64 of the Right to Fair Compensarion and Transparency 1n Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 ( for shor-t 'the Act'). l. However, today when the Writ Petitions are taken up for herarine., learned Govemment Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing on behalf of the respondent authorities would submit that during t he pendency of the present Writ Petit ions, the ar"rthorities have referred the application submitted by the petitioners fbr determination of market value ro the authority t constitr"rted urLder Section 64 of the Act on 28-09-2024. 2
4. Learned Govemment pleader lurrher submits that since the authorities have now made reference, the grievance ol- the petitioners in the present Writ petitions stands redressed.
5. By stating as above, leamed Govemment pleader for Land Acquisition has placed before this Court a copy of the proceedings Rc.No.B/101912015 dated 2g-Og-2024, whereby reference has been made to the authority constituted under Section 64 of the Act.
6. In view of the above said submission and having regard to the reference made by the authorities on 28-09-2024, this Court is of the view that the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed, and no further orders are necessarv.
7. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are closed. No costs
