Heard Sri Ramakotaiah Kandala, learned counsel for the petitioners; learned Government Pleader for Housing for respondent No.l; Sri Kiran Reddy Mallarapu, learned Standrng Counsel for Telangana State Housing Corporation Limited, for respondent No.2; and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondent Nos.3 to 6 2 IK.J ivp 16329 202 5 Learned counsel for the petitioners stlbmits that the 4. petitioners are u'orking as Media Reporters in their respective media channels and have applied for the grant of double bedroom houses under Journalist quota in the Journalist Colony at Gajwel' Hor,l,ever, no action has been taken so far' Therefore' the petitioners madc representations to the respondents on 08 'O9 '2022 ancl 04. lO.2023 requesting for allotment of double-bedroom flat/plot at Journalist Coiony, Gajwel, and the same are pending consideration. Hence, learned counsel prays this Court to dircct the respondents to consider the representations, dated 08 'O9 '2022 and04.10.2023, submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate 6rds15 \.ithin a stipulated period of time. Having regard to the submissicns made by learned counsel for the respective parties and without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to 3 PKJ wp 16329 2025 pass appropriate orders on the representations, dated og.og.2022 and 04.7O.2023, submitted by the petitioners, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate a copy thereof to the petrtioners.
