No.935 /24-25, dated 04.02.2025, SE/OP/SGR/SAO/AAO/HT/JAO /HT/D.No.265 /25, dated 19.05.2025 and Str/OP/SGR/SAO/AAO / H"l / J AO I HT / D.No.342 / 25, daLed 02.06.2025 issucd by respondent No.2, directing the petitioner to pay an amount of Rs.1,91,46,297 /- towards Cross Subsidy Surcharge, the present Writ Petition is hled.

2. Heard Sri Deepak Chowdary, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri N.Sreedhar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited, for the respondents. With their consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at admission stage.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present impugned demand notices dated 04.O2.2O25, 19.O5.2025 and

02.06.2025, issued by respondent No.2 for payment of Rs. 1,91,46,297/ towards Cross Subsidy Surcharge, is contrary to the common order of a Division Bench of this Court dated 79.12.2023 in c P(,.I wPNo lsc? I of2023 W.P.Nos. 14918 of 2OO6 and batch, wherein, the Divirrion Bench had set aside the impugned demand notices therein, h olding that they were issued in violation of the Electricity (Remova I of Difficulties) Second O:der, 2005. Therefore, the petitionr:- submitted its representalrions to respondent No.2 on 14.02.2025 ,:rnd 29.O5.2O25, requesting to rvithdrau, the impugned demand notic:r: and not to take further action. However. no action has been taken thereon so far. It is further submitted thal in similar circumstances Lhis Court ulde order dated 20.o2.20'25 in w.P.No.5098 cl1 2(l-'5, directcd the respondent.s therein to consider and pass appropri.rl: orders on the representat-ion of the petitioner therein. Having regard to the submissions made by le':rrned counsel for the respective parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondenl- No.2 to consider the representations of the petitioner, 3 PI<, J w P No 15921 of 2025 daLed 14.02.2025 and 29.05.2025, and pass appropriate orders thereon, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate a copy therlof to the petitioner.
