"o.h 2 Considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and rearned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.2 to 4 ald perused the record. 3 It is stated that the petitioner hails from a poor family and his son namely Arrula Vishnu, aged about E5K 2 -\ 18 years expired due to hit by 'Thunderbolt' on
08.05.2023. It is further stated that the Government has issued G.O.Ms.No.2, Revenue (D.M-I) Department, dated
19.07 .2018 for sanction of ex-gratia to the families of the deceased person, who died due to Thunderbolt ald in terms of the said G.O., the petitioner has approached the respondent authorities for salction of ex-gratia but till date, his case has not been considered by the respondent authorities.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Government has sanctioned compensation to similarly placed persons, through G.O.Rt.No.15, Revenue (D.M-I) Department, dated 18.09.2019, and he relied upon the order dated O3.O2.2O25 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.No.1341 of 2025 arrd submitted that the subject matter of this writ petition is squarely covered by the aforesaid order.

In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would be met if the respondents are directed to examine the case of the petitioner for sarction 3 of ex-gratia in terms of the G.O.Ms.No.2, Revenue (D.M_I) Department, dated 19.07.2018 and G.O.Rt.No.15, Revenue (D.N-l) Department, dated 18.09.2O19, and if the petitioner is entitled for sanction of ex-gratia, consider his case and pay the compensation in terms of the said G.Os. If the petitioner is otherwise not entitled, pass a reasoned order within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the sarne to the petitioner.
6. With the above observations, this Writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel, the miscellareous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
