2. The petitioner is arrayed as accused No'1 in the Calendar Case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A' 323' 354-A and 506 of lndian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. Heard Ms.Mallela Suchitra' learned counsel representing Mr.D.Shashi Preetham' learned counsel for the petitioner' Mr'Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor' representing the respondent No.1 -Stato.

Pending this petition, the parties have entered into the compromlse and, accordingly, respondent No'2/de-facto complainant filed l'A'Nos'3 and 4 of 2025 with the prayer to permit them to enter into compromis€ - 2 Vnff IA.Not-j aad 4 of 2025 in/ad Crl.P.No. 7/17 of 2025 and by recording the seftlement to quash the proceedings against the petitioneriaccused No.1 in C.C.No.626 1 ot 2023. ..i 5' This court vide ordet dated 30.06.2025 referred the parties to the High court Legar services committee for identification and to verify the voluntariness in arriving the set,ement. The Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, has submitted report dated 14.O7.z,2'stating that the parties were identified by their respective counsel and also on verification of Aadhar cards/rdentity cards and the enquiries reveared that the parties have willfully and without coercion entered into settlemenUcompromise. 6 I have considered the submissions of the learned counsel and perused the materials on record

Having considered the allegations, the nature of charged offences and taking into account the amicabre settrement between the parties, in the light of the dictums in Gian singh v. state of punjab and anotherl and Anil Mishra v. Sfafe of lJ.p.2; State of Madhya pradesh v. Laxmi Narayan and others3, this Court is of the considered view that of the impugned proceedings in view of the setflement by ._quashment 1 2012 (10) SCC 303 ' 2024 INSC 189 3 2019 (5) scc 688 3 ^[R/ I- NotJ and 4 of 2025 in/ and Cr/.P.No. 7147 of 2025 exercising jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr'?'C't528 of BNSS' 2023' would be in the interest of justice' B.
