The petitioner is claiming herself to be the resident of Telangana and urged that because of typographical mistake in the application form, she mentioned her State of Eligibility as ..Uttar Pradesh,, in place of ..Telangana,. The singular prayer in this petition is to direct the respondents to correct the State of eligibility as "Telalgana" for all purposes in NEET UG 2025 Examination. lrarned counsel for the petitioner by placing reliance on the 4. order passed by Division Bench of this Court in WP(SR) No' 18076 of 2Oir9 (Ex.P. 15) submits that this Court in similar circumstances issued necessary directions' However' in the instant case' vide \ \-. 2 impugnecl c o r Lmunication dated 2Z.OS.2O2), the respondents have alrt:ac'r r .. jected the representation.

Per ccr r- i., learned counsel for the responden,s ,;ubmits that the Public \,i r ice (trx.p. 13) contains a clear. srip.rlation that "the windo,r lr corrections sha-ll be available t,ll 11.03.2025. (Upto 11.50 D \1.). After this deadline, no furlher <:orrections will be permittecl _ trder any circumstances., lt is r_ rged that the software ,Jor:r, trtt permit any reopening or corrr:ctiorr after the cut off date. If rt. i is juncture, a,y such correction is ,;rrtered, it will adversely imtr a : lakhs of candidates, who have par-tici;rated in the examrnation

7. Heard at .! r rgth on admission. 8' Admittelr.y as per pubtic Notice dated o r.o3.2o2s: corrections cctlr have been carried out till 11.03,.202 5 rrpto 11.5O I wa: -!y.v 3 PM. The Public Notice in no uncertain terms makes it clear that no further corrections will be permitted under any circumstances' g. It is a matter of common knowledge in the present examination, lakhs of students are participatirig' The candidate who is preferring application must be vigilant and cross check the information furnished by him/her. The first representation seeking correction was preferred by the petitioner only on

27.O5.2O25. Thus, the petitioner has not acted with due diligence' we find no reason to doubt the contention of learned counsel for the respondents that in the software, there exists no mechanism to reopen and correct the entries already made till I 1'03'2025' If interference is made on mere asking for a candidate who did not act with care and caution, the examination agency will be put to inconvenience and impossibility of correction in electronic form at this stage cannot be directed by passing a judicial order'

So far as order of this Court in WP(SR) No'19076 of 2019 is concernedonwhichheavyrelianceisplacedbylearnedcorrnsel for the petitioner, suffice it to say that this Court has not laid down any principle of law in the said case' This Court merely directedthepetitionerthereintopreferarepresentationseeking I I 4 I correction zi)c in turn, the respondents therein ,r.err: directed to decide the r;rrr r:.
