3. This writ petition is filed by the petitioners who we', selected under the Notifi cation N o. 1 923 I 20 | 6. The unsuccessful candidates ha 'e filed another vwit petition i.e., W.P.No. I 95 I 3 ol20 I 6, and this Court granted tay in favour of the petitioners in W.P.No. 195 l3 of 2016, directing that no of i, rs of appointments shall be issued, pending disposal of the W.P.No.l9513 of 2( I6.

Leamed Special Government Pleader, referring to t filed by respondent No.4 in WP.No.3365 of 2017, essentia I Le counter affidavit / submits that some I I of the candidates who apptied against Notification No.19.l i/201 7, represented to the 3'd respondent-District Collector & Chairman to give 1 reference to DMLT qualified candidates over others; however, tlre Govemm,: rt clarified that the candidates with DMLT/B.Sc. MlT/Intermediate with Voca i rnal MLT (with one year clinical training from District Hospital/OGH/GH etc..) and registered with \ \ I I i l I 2 wp_19513 2016 wP 336s_2017 N8K, J paramedical Board, are at parlequivalent to each other. Leamed Special G.P, on 24.03.2025, sought time for obtaining clarification regarding the issuance ol subsequent notification lor filling up of regular posts ofLab Technicians.

Today, at the hearing, leamed Special Government Pleader places on record the Order dated 21.03.2018 passed by this Court in WP.No.l673 of 2018 wherein the Notit-rcation No.67l2017 dated I8.12.2017 was challenged. This Court disposed of the said writ petition (i.e., W.P.No.1673 of 2018) by recording thal the grievance of the petitioners therein was redressed. This Court, white disposing the writ petition, recorded that the Govemment, vide G.O.Rt.No.88, HM & FW (B1) Depanment, dated 15.02.2018, has amended the Service Rules of Lab Technician Grade-II, thercby certain courses approved by the Para- Medical Board were also pennitted as qualifications, including the qualifications mentioned under G.O.Ms.No.166, dated 09.09.2017, thereby tht: petitioners therein became eligible to apply for the post. In view of the Notification No.67l2017 issued for filting up regular posts
6. of Lab Technicians, which was subject matter of W.P.No.1673 of 2018, nothing survives in the present writ petitions and no further orders are required.
7. Accordingly, the writ petitions are closed as infructuous. No costs.
