2. Since the issue involved in these criminal petitions is one and the same and the petitioners are arrayed as Al to A8 in Crime No.486 of 2O2O, they are being heard together and disposed of by way of this Common Order. Page 2 of4

When the matter has been tal<::n up for consideration, learned Assistant publlr: prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State would sutr. nit that this Court vide order dated 2I.O9.2O2O in I.A.Nr, 2 of 2O2O in Criminal Petition No.4149 of 2O2O has gr.rrted stay of all further proceedings against the petitior-r:rs including their arrest in Crime No.486 of 2O2O pendir.rg on the file of Kukatpaily Police Station, Cyberabar . He also submits that the said interim stay has bee: vacated by the order of this court in O2.O4.2O25 and c rdered that the petitioners shall not be arrested. He fur. rer submits that the investigation is under progress and after completion of investigation necessary final ;-r,port would be flled before the learned trial Court, as srrch, sought for dismissal of these Criminal petitions.

Learned counsel for the petitioners wrt rid submit that based on the omnibus, bald anc frivolous allegations, the petitioners are being sr-rbjected to rnvestigation, who have been arrayed as Al to Ag and \ \ Page 3 of4 has got no relation insofar as the said crime is concerned. However, he would submit that since the petitioners a-re subjected to criminal prosecution, their mental agony has persisted, which amounts to physical harassment, S such, seeks a direction to the respondent/police to expedite the investigation and file final report, as expeditiously as possible

5. Under these circumstances, this Court dcems it appropriate to direct the responde nt / policc to f-rie appropriate report, as expeditiously as possible. Since it is admitted by the learned counscl for thc pctitioners that Section 41-A Cr.P.C notice has bccn received by the petitioners herein, the petitioners arc directed to file necessaqr explanation to the said notice, within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date o[ receipt of a copy of this order, including the defence, if any and to cooperate with the investigation. Upon receipt of the same, the respondent/police are directed to conduct investigation strictly in accordance with law and file appropriate Pagc 4 of4 report before the learned trial Court, as exp editiously as possible, preferably within a period of thre€ rnonths from the date ol receipt of a copy of this order.
