2. Heard Mr. Ramu Nallamothu, Iearned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Government pleader for Services-III for respondent Nos.1 to 4.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner retired from service on 3L.07 .2024 and till now, his retirement benefits were not released by the respondents.
4. Learned Government pleader submits that the bills pertaining to the retirement benefits of the petitioner are already processed. However, due to dearth of funds, the amounts could not be released to the petitioner on time. Learned Government pleader further submits that as per seriatim of the token numbers, amounts will be I I released to the beneficiaries.
5. Having regard to the above submissions, this Writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release and pay the admitted Pending Final payment of Gratuity (CAp) Bill amount of Rs.11,97,511/- vide STO Token No.2522372490 dated 08.08.2024, I I Gratuity (TG) Bill amount of Rs.4,02,489/- vide STO Token No.2522372503, dated 08.08.2024, Commutation (CAP) Bill amount of Rs.Ls,95,4571- vide STO Token No.2522372572, dated 08.08.2024, Commutation (TG) Bill amount of Rs.5,36,240l- vide STO Token No.2522372472, dated 08.08.2024, Final ELs and Half Pay Leave Encashment Bill amount of Rs.7,36,998/- vide STO Token No.2523305930, dated 02.12.2024, ZP GPF Part Final Payment Bill amount of Rs.8,30,535/- vide STO Token and Cheque No.2523578904, dated 30.L2.2024, and Surrender Leave Bill amount of Rs.68,443l- vide STO Token No.2406888914, dated 09.05.2023, pertaining to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possiblei preferably within a period of ten (10) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
