Heard Mr. P.Ugender Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Finance appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4 and learned Government Pleader for Education appearing for respondent No.5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner
retired from service on 31.05.2024 and till now, his retirement benefits were not released by the respondents.
Learned Government Pleader submits that the bills pertaining to the retirement beneflts of the petitioner are already processed. \ However, due to dearth of funds, the amounts could not be released to the petitioner on time. Learned Government. Pleader further submits that as per seriatim of the token numbers, amounts will be released to the beneficiaries.
Having regard to the above submissions, this Writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release Gratuity (TS) amount of Rs.2,08,413/- with Token No'2518455827 dated I
71.07.2024, Gratuity (CS) amount of Rs.13,91,587/- with Token No.2518455795 dated 11.07.2024, Commutation (TS) amount of Rs.3,38,088/- with Token No.2518455873 dated tL.07.2024, Commutation (CS) amount of Rs.22,57,435/- with Token No.2518455860 dated 11.07.2024, Earned Leave and Half Pay Leave amount of Rs.14,26,232/- and with Token No.2518652207 dated 12.07.2024 and General Provident Fund amount of Rs.12,38,894/- with Token/Cheque No.1223249905 dated 23.11.2024, pertaining to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of ten (10) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
