This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. by the accused in Crime No.567 of 2008 of Humayun Nagar P.S., Hyderabad, to quash the proceeding therein. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions from the concerned Police, submits that final report has been filed stating that further action has been dropped pursuant to the registration of the case. In that view of the matter, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication.
