MADHAVI DEVI WRIT PETITION No.13042 OF 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief:- "...... to issue a wril order or direclion particularly one in lhe nalure of l{rit of Mandamus declaring the action of lhe respondent Nos. 3 and 4 in not considering lhe represenlalions dated 02.12.2024, 26.04.2022, 09.09.2021, 03.01.2025 submiued by the Petitioner Jbr conversion of retail kerosene dealer license into Fair price shop dealer in terms of G.O.Ms.No.20 Consumer Affairs, Food & Civil Supplies (CS.LCCA) Department, dated 06.09.2018 as illegal, arbitrary and againsl the Principles of Natural Justice and consequenlly direct lhe respondenls lo consider lhe representalions submilted by lhe petitioner for appointmenl as fair price shop dealer in rerms of G.O.Ms.No.2O dated 06.09.2018 and pass such other order or orders... "

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was appointed as a retail kerosene dealet vide license bearing No.65 in the year 2011 and he has been eking out his livetihood from the income derived from it. Leamed counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Govemment, taking into consideration the issue of gas connections under the Deepam Scheme to almost all the cardholders, has dispensed with the supply of kerosene, as a result of which the petitioner is unable to maintain himself and his family member. 2 TMDJ wp-13042-2025 Leamed counsel submitted that the petitioner came to know that the fair price shop bearing No'43 18013 in Khila' Warangal' has fallen vacant. Leamed counsel further submitted that the State Government issuedG.o.Ms.No.20,C.A.F&CS(CSI-CCS)Department,dated 06.09.2018, whereunder certain guidelines were issued for selection and appointment of new fair price shops under Clause 5 of the Telangana Stale Public Distribution System (Control) Order' 2016' Learned counsel submitted that Clause No' l0 of the said G.O.Ms.No.20 deals with the conversion of nominated retailers as fair price shop dealers and as per the said clause' the petitioner is eligible for such conversion and the respondents have to consider the case of the petitioner Learned counsel submitted that in spite of the representations dated Og'Og'2021, 26'04'2022' 02'122024 and 03.01.2025 submitted by the petitioner' no action has been taken by the respondents. Leamed counsel for the petitioner further submitted that in similar circumstances in W'P'No'440 42 of 2022' this Court' vide order dated 08'12.2022, disposed of the said w,rit petition directing the respondents therein to consider the case of the petitioner TMD,] wp 13042 2025 therein as per G.O.Ms.No.20, dated 06.09.2018, within a period of four weeks and therefore, seeks similar relief to the petitioner herein as well.
3. Heard leamed Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for the respondents

In view of the above facts and circumstances, this Courl deems it fit and proper to direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner as per G.O.Ms.No.20, C.A.F&CS (CS I-CCS) Deparlment, dated 06.09.2018, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date ol receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
