The case of the petitioner, in brief, is that the petitioner,s father late Purnachandra Rao, worked as vAo during his rife time Z SN, J wP 18700 2022 'l and died on 05.04.2006 leaving behind the petitioner's mother, petitioner's brother and the petitioner as his legal heirs. The petitioner was a Post Graduate student and diploma holder in computer accounts. The respondent No.3 issued Proceedings No.Al/3473/2017 dated 10.01.2018 calling for certain information to appoint the petitioner under Compassionate Grounds as Village Revenue Officer and directed the petitioner to provide the details with regard to petitioner's Date of Birth, and date of application made for job on compassionate grounds and whether the petitioner's family was paid an amount of Rs.25,000/- as per G.O.Ms.No.446 Revenue (VO) dated

24.O7.2002. The petitioner had already submitted all the details enclosed with an application dated 10.11.2017 and the petitioner informed the respondent authorities that they never received any amount from respondent Nos.2 and 3 much less Rs.25,000/- as per G.O.Ms.No.446 Revenue (VO) dated 24.O7.2002. It is the further the case of the petitioner that the petitioner made application for compassionate appointment within one year as per the G.O.Ms.No.660 dated 06.07.2009 immediately after the death of petitioner's father i.e., on

06.01.2007, o1.04.2007, 06.06.201 1, 24.02.2012, L4.O3.20t6 and 10.11.20 17, but the 3'd respondent did not consider the 3 SN, J wP 18700 2022 petitioner's application. Aggrieved by the same the petitioner filed the present writ petition.

4. PERUSED T E RECO RD. DISC USSION AND CONCLUS ION:

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner filed the present writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's application, dated 1O.11.2017 for appointment of petitioner as Viltage Administrative Officer or for appointment to any other suitable post on compassionate grounds.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner further submits that the oFfice of the District Collector, Hanumakonda had issued a Memo. dated 05.02.2025 vide Rc.No.A113473/2OI7 calling upon the petitioner to submit certain relevant documents for consideration of the proposals submitted for compassionate appointment of the petitioner as dependent of the deceased Government employee late Sri I.Purnachander Rao, Village Administrative Officer, and in response to the said Memo dated 05.02.2025 issued by the office of the District Collector, Hanumakonda, the petitioner had 4 SN, J 8700 2022 WP submitted all the relevant documents as called for vide the said Memo to the Office of the District Collector, Hanumakonda on 25.02.2025 itself. However, no orders have been passed on the application of the petitioner seeking compassionate appointment duly considering the petitioner's application, dated lO.LL.2017 seeking appointment of the petitioner as Village Administrative Officer or for appointment to any other suitable post till as on date. 7, Learned Assistant Government pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the writ petition could be disposed of directing the respondents to examine and consider the documents submitted by the petitioner on 25.02.2025, in response to the Memo, dated O5.O2.2O25 issued by the Office of the District Collector, Hanumakonda to the petitioner herein and take a decision, in accordance to !aw, within a reasonable period. L The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner does not dispute the said submission made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents. c) 5 SN, J wP _t87002022 9, Ta kino to considerati n: (A) The aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, (B) The submissions made by the learned counset appearing on behalf of the petationer and the learned Assistant Government pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, (C) The contents of the Memo dated 05.02 .2O25 of the Office of the District Collector, Hanumakonda, issued to the petitioner vide Rc.No.AL/9472/2O17 calling upon the petitioner for furnishing certain relevant documents for consideration of the petitioner,s request for appointment under compassionate grounds, (D) The fact that the petitioner had furnished all the relevant documents as called for vide Memo dated 05.O2.2O2S of the District Collector, Hanumakonda issued to the petitioner on 25.C.2.2025 itself and no orders having been passed on the application of the petitaoner dated 10.11.2OL7 tor appointment of the petitioner as Village Administrative Officer or for appointment to any other suitable post on compassionate grounds till as on date, t / 6 SN, J wP t8'700 2022 The Writ Petition is allowed as prayed for. The 2nd respondent is directed to take a decision on the subject issue pertaining to appointment of the petitioner as Village Administrative Officer or for appointment to any other suitable post, duly considering the relevant documents submitted by the petitioner on 25.02.2025 in response to the memo dated OS.O2.2O25 vide Rc.No.A1l347312OL7 issued to the petitioner herein by the Office of the District Coilector, Hanumakonda and pass appropriate orders duly considering the petitioner,s application, dated 10.11.2OL7, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance to law, in conformity with principles of naturat justice, by providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and duly communicate the decision to the petitioner.
