It is stated that the petitioner's grandfather Sri Dharnamonr Seethaiah, S/o.Dharnamoni Pochaiah was the absolute owner and possessor of land admeasuring to an extent of Acs. 2.2400 guntas in Survey No.126/4, situated at Dandumailara-rn Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, Ranaga Reddy District (for short, 'the subject property') and his name was also recorded in Khasra Pahani and in the revenue records as pattadar and possessor. It is further stated that Sri Dharnamoni Seethaiah died long back leaving behind his only son Sri Dharnamoni Pentaiah, who also died ieaving behind his only son i.e., the petitioner. It is further stated that the petitioner's grandfather name was wrongly recorded in Dharani Portal as Sri Dharnamoni Sathaiah instead of Sri Dharnamoni Seethaiah. The grievance of the petition"l i" th"t he made an application to respondent Nos.2 to 4 dated 15.O4.2025 iseeking I l,: 2 CVBR, J W.P.No.12543 of 2O25 for correction and mutation of his name in the revenue records and issuance of digital passbook and to upload his name in Dharani Portal in respect of the subejct property, but til1 date respondent Nos.2 to 4 have not taken any action on the said representation. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Considered the submissions made by the iearned counsel for the parties and with their consent, this writ petitron 1S disposed of at the admission stage

Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has not disputed the fact that the nature of the subject property has been classified as patta land and the name of the petitioner's grandfather is recorded as pattadar. Learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 2O2O (for short, 'the Act 9 of 2O2O'l has been recently repealed and replaced with Bhu Bharati (Record of Rights in Land) Act, 2025 (for short, Act 1 of 2O25'l and the same is pending for giving effect by issuing notihcation and in the event of Act 1 of 2025 coming into force, the petitioner is entitled to make an application for correction and mutation of his name in the revenue records and issuance of digital passbook and to upload his name in Dharani Portal in respect of the subject property.

In view of the above submission, this Court is of the opinion that the ends of justice would be met, if the petitioner is permitted to make an appropriate application seeking for correction ald mutation of his name in j/ ! .'lita a' J .CVBR, J W.P.No.12543 of 2025 the revenue records and issuance of digital passbook and to upload his I name in Dharani Portal in respect of the subject property in terms of the Act I of 2025 and if the petitioner satisfies all the requirements for correction of the entries in the Dharani Portal, amendment of revenue records and consequential issuance of pattadar passbook under the provisions of Act I of 2025, the respondents shall consider the said application submitted by the petitioner duly taking into consideration all the entries made in the Khasra Pahani and other pahanis ald pass appropriate reasoned orders and communicate the same within a period of four (04) months from the date of receipt of copy of the said application.
