His probation was declared on 28'11'2019' It is his grievance that he completed requisite period of service in the cadre of OfFice Subordinate for consideration to promotion as Junior Assistant, and he submitted representation dated 0l'70'2024 to respondent No.3 in that regard' Thereafter respondent No'2- Engineer-in-Chief, addressed a Memo dated 75'lO'2024 to respondent No.3 to take necessary action based on the vacancy position at his level, being the competent authority, as per Rules' It is the grievance of the petitioner that in spite of his representation dated 01.10.2024 and the instructions of respondent No'2 dated L5.I0.2024, his case for promotion to the post of Junior Assistant has not been considered by respondent No.3 till date; hence, the Writ Petition.
