MADHAVI DEVI WRIT PETITION No.12156 of 2025 ORDER This Writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents No.3 to 6 in bifurcating the Ananthasagar Gram Panchayat into two Gram Panchayats, i.e., Ananthasagar Gram Panchayat and Hanuman Nagar Gram Panchayat, as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, appearing for respondents No. l, 2 and 4, has lorwarded a copy of the written instructions received by him, according to which the local MLA as well as some of the villagers have opposed the said \ I 2 TMD).. wp 12156_2025 proposal and therefore, the representation has been forwarded to respondent No.5 for submission of the proposals regarding the lormation of a New Gram Panchayat from the existing Gram Panchayat so that the same can be forwarded to the Govemment, but as on date no proposals have been received to his olfice 4 In view of the above submissions, it is evident that no proposals have been initiated as of now by the Government to bilurcate the Ananthasagar Gram Panchayat. Therefore, this Court finds that this Writ Petition is premature and the same is liable to be dismissed.
