The District Educational Officer, Siddipet District, Telangana. ....,RESPONDENTS Petition Under Article 226 of lhe Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of [\/andamus declaring the action of the Respondents herein in not granting seniority and consequential benefits to the petitioners herein as being illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory and violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the constitution of lndia and consequentially direct the Respondents herein to grant seniority and consequential benefits to the petitioners herein on par with first batch of DSC- 1998 I.A.NO:1 OF 2025 Petition Under Section 151 cPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the Respondents herein to consider the representations dated 04.02.2o2s, 05 02.2025 & 04.03.2025, made by the petitioners herein, pending disposal of the writ petition. Perused the material on record.

The case oF the petitioners is that they have applied for the post of Secondary Grade Teacher (for short'SGT') in pursuance of the Notification issued by the District Selection Committee, 1998, dated 15.03.1998 and in pursuance of the direction dated 27.09.2001, which partly allowed the O.As and fill the said vacancies within a period of one year form 28.09.2001 issued by Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, by order dated 27.09.2001 which partly allowed the O.As to fill up the said vacancies within a period of one year from 28.09.2001. Subsequently, this Hon'ble Court by order dated 05.02.2002 modified and disposed the W.P.No.334 of 2OO2 directly 111 vacancies as available for being filled up in DSC-1998 and the same shall be filled up before issuing the Notification of DSC-2002, accordingly, the counseling was held and the petitioners were sRlegted in pursuance of the vacancies 2 available in DSC- 1998 and accordingly, they have joined in service and thereafter, their services were regularized in the said cadre. It is the further case of the petitioners that since they were selected in pursuance of the vacancies available in DSC-1998, they are entitled to be treated as seniors on par with their batch mates, in the light of the common order dated 29.07.2022 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.Nos.21701 and 22Otl of 2ott.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have submitted representations dated 04.02.2025,
05.02.2025 and 04.03.2025 before the respondents-authorities requesting them to consider their case for seniority on par with their batch mates and the same is still pending with the respondents- authorities for consideration. Therefore, learned counsel prayed this Court to grant seniority and consequential benefits to the petitioners and direct the respondent authorities to consider the representation dated 04.O3.2025, submitted by the petitioners.

Learned Government Pleader for Services-I, appearing for the respondents submits that the respo ndents-a uthorities will consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 04.03.2025, and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law. : I I -.i I 6. Taking into consideration of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective pafties, without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent authorities to consider the petitioners' representation dated 04.03.2025, and pass appropriate orders thereon, in the light of the common order dated 29.07.2022 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.Nos.21701 and 22OlL of 2011, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate a copy thereof to the petitioners.
