Heard Sri P.V.Ramana, learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Government Pleader for Finance and Planning for respondent No.1; and learned Government Pleader for Medical and Health for respondent Nos.2 and 3. With their consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance of purchase orders, dated 26.07.2024, O2.O4.2O24, O8.O5.2O24,

08.O5.2024, 26.O7 .2024, 26.O7 .2024, 18.O7 .2024 , 72.11.2024 atd 14.11.2024, the petitioner had supplied surgical items. Subsequently, the petitioner submitted the bills to the Principal, Government Dental College and Hospital, Afzalgunj. Consequent thereto, cheques/token Nos.2523140581, 2523740618, 2523140607, 252314O5a9 and 2523343547 for an amount of Rs. 1,09,460/-,Rs.9,74,064 l-, Rs. 1O,85,28Ol-, Rs. 14,O9,52O/- and ( ( ! \ 2 PK,J wp 11640_2025 Rs.17,64,896/- (total amount of Rs.53,43,2201.1 were issued. However, even after lapse of four months, the anrounts were not released to the petitioner so far- Therefore, learneC counsel prays this Court to direct the respondents to release ztnd pay the said amount to thc petitioner u,ithin a stipulated perioc ,:f time.

4. Learncd Government Plcader for responrlent No.1, on instructions, subrnits that due to dearth of funcls, the amount could not be relezrsed to the petitioner, on time. However, prays this Court to grant six (6) weeks time to release the amount to the petitioner.

Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the respec t.ive parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No. 1 lo release/pay an amount of Rs.53,43,22O1- in pursdance of token Nos.2523 1405a7, 252314o618., 2523140607, 2523i40589 and 2523343547, as expeditiousll' as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
