Counsel for the Petitioner: SRI ASADULLA SHAREEF Counsel forthe Respondent Nos.1 TO 3 AND 6: GP FOR HOME Counsel forthe Respondent Nos.4 & 5: GP FOR REVENUE Counsel forthe Respondent Nos.7 TO 20: -- The Court made the following: ORDER THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T, VINOD KUMAR Writ Petition No. 11270 of 2025 ORDER Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3 and 6, learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.4 and 5, and with the consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing and disposal at the admission stage.

2. Having regard to the manner of disposal of the Writ Petition at the admission stage and the nature of /s involved, this Couft is of the view that notice to unofficial respondent Nos.7 to 20 is not necessary for adjudication of the present Writ Petition.

3. Shorn of unnecessary details, the case of the petitioner, in brief, is that though respondent Nos.7 to 20 have committed an offence on

01.02.2025 and despite the petitioner approaching the respondents- authorities and making an oral complaint on the same date, i.e. on

01.02.2025, followed up with a v.,ritten complaint on 06.03.2025 to the 3'd and 6th respondents, no action has been taken on the persons named in the complaint by registering a FIR, which action of the respondents- authorities it is contended as highly illegal, arbitrary and in dereliction of their duties. Per contra, learned Government Pleader for Home appearing on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 3 and 6 would submit that though the respondents-authorities did not register a crime based on the complaint made by the petitioner on 06.03.2025, the authorities having regard to the complaint made by the petitioner on 12.04.2025, have registered a case, videCrime No.53 of 2025 against respondent Nos.g, 11 and 12 herein and others.

Learned Government Pleader further submits that since the authorities have registered a case, vide Crime No.53 of 2025, the authorities are conducting investigation into the aforesaid crime and would take further action against the persons named in the aforesaid crime and also others, if any, found involved in commission of the offence/crime by arraying them as accused in the course of investigation.

6. I have taken note ofthe respective contentions urged.

Having regard to the submissions made as above, and taking note of the fact that the respondents-authorities have now registered a case videCrime No.53 of 2025 dt.12.04.2025, this Court is of the view that the respondents-authorities are to be directed to conduct investigation into the aforesaid crime and bring to book the culprits who are involved in the commission of aforesaid crime, in accordance with law. '- 3 B. Subject to above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
