The Head of ihe Dep-artment(HOD), Aheasthesia Department, Kakatiya Medical college, warangal. ...RES'ONDENTS Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that to ln compliance with the orders of tMy Lord the Hon'ble chief Justice daled 17 -04-2023 and for the reasons stated in the letter daled 27 -02-2023 sent by the petitioner herein this Hon'ble court may be pleased to issue an appropriate writ order or orders more particularly in the nature of Writ of [rrlandamus to call for remarks and records from the Respondents herein to relating to ragging, caste discrimination and brutal murder of Dr. Dharavath Preethi, MD(Anaesthesia), 1st year student at Kakatiya Medical college(KMC), Warangal city, belonging to scheduled tribe caste. lt is further submitted that the parents of the deceased stated that their daughter Dr. Dharavath Preethi has joined in lvlD(Anaesthesia) 1st year in November 2022 in Kakatiya Medical college(KMC), Warangal and from December 2022 onwards the 2nd year students headed by Mr. saif are ragging Dr. Preethi, commented. badly on her tribal caste and reservation policy etc', she has complained to the HoD and Principal but no action was taken by them then she ,. informed the same tc her parents. Her father also complained to HOD, Principal and Local Police aulhorities, but no action has been taken by then,. lt4oreover due to these complaints \1r. Saif and his associates developed grudge s further on her and on 21 .02.2023 night, Mr. Saif and his associates gave her poisonous injections forcibly, slre became unconscious and was shifted to firl13lV Hospital for treatment, thereafte' shifted to Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Panjagutta, Hyderabad for better treatment. On 26.O2.202::i the lvledical Superintendent of Nll\,4S declared that despite continuor.rs efforts by lvlu ltid isciplinary team of Specialist Doctors, she could not be saved and declared her dead on 26.02.202-3 at 09.10 PM. ln view of the abovr:, the petitioner prayed to-issue the following dir3ctions to. 1. Ensure to register the FIR under section 302 of IPC and al other relevant Sections of IPC anc SC / ST (POA) Act. 2. Ensure the lransparent investigation by the Centrzrl Bureau of lnvestigation(CB 1 ) r nder direct supervision and monitor by a Siitting Judge of Hon'ble Supreme Col rt of lndia or Hon'ble High Court for the State of Telangana.
