I{e ought Lo have taken ncccssan steps to 3 CVBR, J W.P.No. 1O 149 of 2025 procure necessary records either from the offrce of the Collector or from the office of the Assistant Director, Survey, Settlements and Land Records of the concerned District and demarcate the subject land with the help of tippons of the adjacent survey numbers/village map/ tonch map.

It is settled law Lhat the Sun,ey Department has the authority to conduct survey and dcmarcate lands in accordance with the provisions of the Telangana Land Revenue Act, 1317 Fasli (Act No. VIII of 1317 Fasli), the Telangana Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, and the Rules framed thercunder. The Government has issued various circulars specifying tLrc conditions for conducting surveys, particularly F-Line (ficlcl measurement) surveys. Individuals requesting such survevs:rre required to submit specific documents, and if the conditions strpulated in the circulars are fulhlled, the survey and boundara/ fixirlion may be conducted. It is needless to observe that in the event if the sub- divisional records have to be prepared for the survey numbers of the subject land, respondent No.3 is directed to prepare the sub- divisional survey numbers for the survey numbers of the subject land, subject to petitioner paying alt the incidental expenditure for preparation of the sub-divisional records.
