Learned Assistant Government Pleader, on the other hand' submits that the investigating agency, after due and proper investigation' filed a final report on 11.09-2017, categorically recording a finding of F 2 "lack of evidence." Therefore, according to the State, no further cause of action survives for consideration in this writ petition

I have carefully perused the material available on record. ln view of the limited prayer sought by the petitioners and in light of the fact that a final report has already been filed, it is evident that the grievance raised in this writ petition stands substantially addressed. Consequently, the cause projected by the petitioners no longer survives for adjudication in these proceedings. However, while dismissing this writ petition as infructuous, it is made clear that the petitioners shall be at liberty to avail such remedies as may be available to them under law.
