The petitioners are arrayeci as accused Nos'1 to 3 in the Sessions Case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 417 ' 4C5' 406,420,506, 498-A of the lndian Penai Code' 1860 and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act' 1961 and Sections 3(1Xfl(s)' 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduted Tribes (Prevention Of Atrocities) Amendment Act' 2015. 3. Heard ttlr'K Ravikanth and Ms'N'S'Chaitanya' learned counsel for the petitioners, tilr Jithender Rao Veeramalla' learned Additional Public Prosecutor, rep!'esenting the respondent No'1-State and tVlr'tt/lohd Azhar' learned counsel fo:' ;esponden INc 2ldeJacto complainant' 4. Pending this petitron' the parties have entered into the compromlse and, accordingly, they m'oved lA Nos 2 and 3 of 2025 with the prayer to 2 A'l"R,.ir \.

5. This court vide otder dated 26.03.2025 referred the parties to the High court Legar services committee for identification and to veriff the voluntariness in arriving the setflement. The secretary, High court Legar services committee, has submitted report dated oz.o4.2o2s stating that the parties were identified by their respective counser and arso on verification of Aadhar cards/rdentity cards and the enquiries reveared that the parties have willfully and without coercion entered into seft lement/compromise. 6 I have considered the submissions of the rearned counser and perused the materials on record

Having considered the ailegations, the nature of charged offences and taking into account the amicable setilement between the parties and to restore peace among them, in the right of the dictums in Gian singh v. state of Punjab and anotherl and Anir Mishra v. Sfafe of n.p.2; state of Madhya Pradesh v- Laxmi Narayan and others3, this court is of the considered view that quashment of the impugned proceedings in view of '2012 (10) scc 303 ' 2024 INSC 189 3 zors 1s; scc oae 3 N7R'/ l. ,1.N0t.2 und i ol 202i nl and C.rLP'No'{259 ol 202i the settlement by exercising iurisdiction under Section 482 Cr'P 'C't528 of BNSS, 2023, would be in the interest of justice'
