I I I I i ; I I I I I I 1 THE HONOT]RABLE SRI JUSTICE N.TUKARAMJI WRIT PETITION No.16321 OF 2016 t i ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article226 of Constitution of India seeking the following reliefls:- "...to issue any writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring action of the respondent No.3 in calting the petitioner and his workers to the police station and detaining him there for hours together and i[volving in civil matters at the behest of the unofficial respondent as illegal, arbirary, contrary to law and in violation of Article 14 and 2l of Constitution of India and consequently, direct the respondent No.3 not to interfere in the civil dispute and also not to call the petitioner to their police station and to pass such other order or orders as this Court deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Leamed counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court, by order dated 12.05.2016, granted an interim direction restraining the respondents from interfering in the civil disputes or exerting pressure on the petitioner flor settlement. It is further submitted that, subsequent to the passing of the I I said interim order, the respondents have not caused any interference, and that making the interim order absolute would suffrciently redress the petit ioner's grievance.

3. Learned Assistant Govemment Pleader for Home submits that the respondents have neither interfered in any civit disputes nor exerted 2 pressure on the petitioner for settlement, as atleged. It is cor tended that, in any event, since the petitioner's grievance already sii nds redressed pursuant to the interim direction, nothing further survives I rr adjudication in the present Writ Petition.

4. I have perused the material available on record.

Having regard to the submissions made and in vierv of the fact that the petitioner's grievance has been effectively redressed )ursuant to the interim order, this court deems it just and proper to make , he said interim order absolute. Accordingly ordered and this writ Petitior is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs- Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any. shall stand closed.
