Judgment

THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION NO.11007 OF 2010 ORDER: The petitioner’s grievance in this writ petition is with respect to action of the respondents in not revaluating the answer sheet of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of M.B.B.S. Final Year written by the petitioner with Hall Ticket No.0367031. Heard both sides. It is not in dispute that there is no regulation which permits revaluation of the answer sheets. However, the respondent – university has constituted a Grievance Redressal Committee to look into such grievances of the students. The petitioner therefore has an effective mechanism to make a representation to the said Grievance Redressal Committee and any decision of the said Committee is further appealable to the Executive Council under Section 55 of the N.T.R. University of Health Sciences Act, 1986. The Writ Petition is therefore disposed of permitting the petitioner to file a representation before the Grievance Redressal Committee which shall consider the petitioner’s representation in accordance with law.
