Judgment
Cause title
The State of Andhra Pradesh, rep by Public Prosecutor, High Court of A.P., Hyderabad Respondent The Petition coming on for hearing upon perusing the Petition and memo of grounds filed herein and the order of the High Court dated 12-10-1999 made in Crl.MP. NO. 6005 of 1999, and upon hearing the arguments of
Sri M. Laxman, Advocate for the Petitioners and the Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following
ORDER:
Inspite of the appeal appeared on the Board on various dates i.e., 14.2.2006, 25.7.2006, 3.8.2006 and on this day there has been no representation on behalf of the appellants. The appellants have been on bail as per orders in Crl.MP. No. 6005/99, dated 12.10.1999 pending disposal of the appeal. The conduct of the appellants indicates that they are not prepared to proceed with the hearing of the appeal. Such is the situation, I am of the view that the appellants do not deserve to be continued on bail pending Criminal Appeal. Accordingly, the bail granted to the appellants as per orders dated 12.10.1999 passed in Crl. M.P. No. 6005/99 is cancelled and the trial Court is directed to issue NBWs to the appellants and on execution of NBWs they shall be committed to Prison to serve the sentences pending disposal of the appeal. Post after a week.
