The Chairman and Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh Northern Power Distribution Company Ltd., Warangal. Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein, the High Court will be pleased to issue a Order, Direction or a Writ more particularly one in the nature of “WRIT OF MANDAMUS” restraining the respondents from giving effect to the orders dated. 23rd April, 2005 and the consequential appellate order dated. 4th August, 2005. The Petition coming on for orders as to admission upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed herein and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. S.Ravindranath, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. Saminani Kishore, Advocate for the Respondents. The Court made the following ORDER:
Pending further orders, it is directed that the case of the petitioner shall be considered by the respondents for promotion to the post of ‘Senior Lineman’, without reference to the impugned order. In case, the petitioner is selected, the issuance of orders promoting him, shall be deferred, until further orders.
