2. Heard Mr.C.R. Sukumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Finance appearing for respondent Ncls.1 to 4, learned Government Pleader for Education appearing for respondent No.5.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner retired from service on 3L.O7 .2024 and till now, his retirement benefits were not released by the respondents.
4. Learned Government Pleader submits that the bills pertaining I ( to the retirement benefits of the petitioner are already processed. However, due to dearth of funds, the amounts could not be released to the petitioner on time. Learned Government Pleader further submits that as per seriatim of the token numbers, amounts will be released to the beneficiaries.
5. Having regard to the above submissions, this Writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release Gratuity bill amount of Rs.13,00,124l- with Token No.2522553535, dated .-.--' _ ,_*,{, I
30.08.2024 and Rs.2,99,876l- with Token No.252255:i539, dated
30.08.2024 ri1-otaling Rs.16,00,000/-), Commutation amount of Rs.U,32,L7O./- with Token No.2522553544, dated 30.08.2024 and Rs.3,99,527/- with Token No.2522553548, dated 30.08.2024 (Totaling Rs.211,31,697l-), Encashment of Earned Leave amount of Rs.7,66,260/- with Token No.2522645047, dated 10.09.2024 and Provident Fund ZPGPF amount of Rs.25,01,287l- with Token No.25230443,1.1, dated 30.1O.2024, pertaining to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of ten (10) weeks from ther date of receipt of a copy of this order.
