Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that' being aggrieved try the inaction of the respondent police authorities in properly investigating Crime No'603 of 2016 on the ftle of ' i I 2 the Rajendranagar Police Station, the petitir ,r .e r has been constrained to approach this Court seekin 1 appropriate directions to ensure that the investigation is :onducted in accordance with law

Learned Assistant Government Plead: - for Home submits that Crime No.6O3 of 2016 was duly ir vestigated by the respondenr police authorities, and upon nmpletion of the investigation, a final report was hled r t . 07.06.2018 before the VIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Il gendranagar, classifying the matter as being civil in nature. ,r ccordingly, it is submitted that the grievance of the petiti()r rer no longer survives, and no further directions are ne( ( ssary in the matter.
5. Learned counsel for the unofficiat respon( ents submits that the allegations made against them are ur .founded and unsupported by any material evidence. I . is further submitted that they are in no way conne:.ed with the transactions or aifairs alleged by the petition: ., and hence, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed.
6. I have perused the material placed on rer: rrd. w I t 3 7 . The grievance of the petitioner, as set out in the writ petition, pertains to the alleged inaction of the respondent police authorities in investigating the complaint leading to Crime No.6O3 of 2016. However, from the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home' it is evident that the investigation has since been completed' and a final report has been hled before the competent court' classifying the dispute as civil in nature'
8. This clearly indicates that the respondent police authorities have acted upon the petitioner's representation and that the investigative process has reached its logical conclusion. Therefore, the core grievance raised by the petitioner stands effectively redressed' In view of the above developments, this Court is of the g. considered opinion that nothing further survives for adjudication in the present writ petition' However' it is made clear that the petitioner shall be at liberty to avail appropriate remedies available under law' including cha,llenging the frnal report before the competent court' if any cause of action still survives' 4 I O. Accordlngly, this Writ Petition is rl smissed as infructuous.
