Petition under Article 226 ol the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumslances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of t\4andamus to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the case of petitioner for promotion to the post of Joint Director of lnsurance on temporary or adhoc basis in the existing vacancies pending allocation of the seniority list as directed by this Hon'ble Court in WP No.9784/2019 and batch while considering similarly situated persons i.e. S.Linga Murthy, T.Bhaskar, D. With the consent of both the parties, this writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. " 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner q,as originally appointed as an Assistant Director in the Department of A.P. Government Life Insurance on

06.02.2013 and posted at District Insurance Oflice, Ongole, Prakasham District and later, on 19.01.2021 he was promoted as a Deputy Director and posted at Directorate of Insurance, Hyderabad, presently working as Deputy Director, Directorate of Insurance, Bhima Bhavan, Tilak Road, Abids, Hyderabad.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is eligible for promotion to the post of Joint Director as he is completed two years of service as Deput5r Director. But, due to the order of this Court in W.P. Nos.9784, \ 2 i" J 101O0 and 10386 of 2019, dated Ol.O4.2O2l, the petitioner was not promotecl to the higher post.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that on 12.O2.2025, the petitioner made a representation to respondent No.2 with a request to consider his candidature for promotion to the post of Joint Director in the existing vacancy for the panel year 2024-2025. On 19.O2.2025 the petitioner also made a representation to respondent No.l with the same request. But the respondent authorities have not taken any action on the representations submitted by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition by directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Joint Director of Insurance on temporary or ad-hoc basis in the eisting vacancies pending allocation of the seniority list as directed by this Court in W.P.No.9784 of 2Ol9 and batch, dated 01.04.2O21, while considering similarly situated persons i.e., S.Linga Murthy, D.Ashok, M.Jhansi Lakshmi and D.Reddy Shekhar Reddy and promoting them on 18.O8.2O2l and 06. Lt.2023.

6. On the other hand, learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents submits that the respondents would consider the representation dated 1g.O2.2O25 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

Having considered the rival submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties and without going into merits of the case, the respondent authorities are directed to consider the representations dated l2-O2-2O25 and 19'02'2025 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. B. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of' No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
