BHASKAR REDDY ORDER: WRIT PETITIOI{ No.6254 of 2025 It is stated that the petitioner is the owner and possessor of the land admeasuring Acs.2.08 guntas in Sy.No.4O I . and Acs.9.2O guntas in Sy.No.402, situated at Peddur Village, Sircilla Mandal, Rajanna Sircilla District, having purchased the same through different sale deeds bearing document Nos.5263 of 2017,dated28.O7.2017; 8346 of 2077, dated 06. 11.2017 aod 2O7 of 2015, dated O9.O I .2O 15. It is further stated rhat the names of the petitioner's vendor and his predecessor-in-interest were recorded as pattadar in ail the revenue records. It is further stated that when pattadar pass book was not issued in his favour under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 2O2O (for short "the Act 9 of 2O2O"), the petitioner made an application No.24OO122283, dated 18. 1 7 .2024 requesting for mutation and consequential issuance of pattadar passbook. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent authorities have rejected the said application without assigning any reasons.
2. Considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri L.Ravinder, learned Assistant Government t l I I I I 1 CVBR. J Wp_6254 202s Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos. 1 to 4 and with their consent, this writ petition is being disposed of at the admission stage.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has vehemently contendcd that the entries made in the pattadar passbook are only compilation of the survey numbers and the accounts for the extent being mentioned in a particular village, therefore, it does not take away the right of the petitioner in any manner unless the entries in the revenue records have been corrected by following due procedure. 4 Sri L.Ravinder, learned Assistant Government pleader for Revenue has not disputed the submission of the application by the petitioner seeking for data correction and its rejection without assigning reasons.
5. This Court has carefully examined the impugned order passed by respondent No.2 rejecting the petitioner,s application, dated 18.11.2024. Except stating that the application submitted by the petitioner is rejected by coliector, no varid reasons whatsoever have been assigned to enable the petitioners to take appropriate action. Since the impugned order passed by respondent No.2 is not in consonance wi-th the principles of I \ To ) CVBR, J wp_62s4_2025 natural justice, the same is liable to be set aside , and accordingly, the same is set aside and the respondent authorities are directed to re-examine the application No.2400122283, dated 18.1t.2024 submitted by the petitioner and if he is otherwise eligible and entitle and fulhll all the requirements mentioned in the circular instructions issued by CCLA uide Circular No. 1 of 2O2t, dated, l5.Ol.2o2l and Circular No. I of 2024, dated 28.O2.2024, consider the same and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner, within a period of eight (Og) weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
6. With the above observations, this Writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
