Sreedhar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for TGSPDCL, appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.2 to 5.
2. The petitioners filed the writ petition seeking the following relief : "... to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the letter No Lr. No.ADE/OPlGLK/ADE-IV/D.No. L9/2022 dated 13-04-2022 and the failure of the Respondent No.3 to conduct hearings pursuant to the letter Lr. No. SE / OP I CC / HV d,/Co m p l/ F. N o. 3 8/ D. N o. 4 3 1 B/ 2 024 - 25, dated 19-10-2024 and reply dated 14-08-2024 as illegal and arbitrary and consequently to suspend the Lr. No.ADE/OP/GLK/ADE-IV/D.No.l9/2022 dated 13-04- 2022 and also to restrain Respondent Nos.2 to 5 from disrupting the electricity supply vide service connection No. 83008797 and pass...". 2 wp_6ror-srlii

The case of the petitioners, in brief, is that on 25.02.2025, the staff of respondent No.2 disconnected the electricity power supply to the petitioners, society i.e. Aditya Suncrest Flat,Owners Association and sealed the separate room consisting of generator and electricity meter and after three hours, again, the respondent authorities reconnected the electricity power supply to the subject premises with warning that they would disconnect until the dues are cleared. Further, the respondent No.5 issued a letter No.ADE/OplGLK/ ADE_IV/D.No.L9/2022,, dated 13_04_ 2022 to the petitioners alleging that on ZZ.O3.2022,inspection of the subject pr_omises was conducted and found that the meter recorded less consumption energy and the same resulted tn short billing owing to defective meters and further directed the petitioners to pay an amount of Rs.2,24,488/- within 15 days. The respondent authorities issued a letter dated 8.04.2022 petitioners have to pay a total sum of stating that the Rs.4,48,976/- towards electricity charges. 4. The petitioners made a detailed representation dated 29.04.2022 stating that the impugned letter/notice dated 13.04.2022 was issued without any basis and further to withdraw the rmpugned letter dated 13.04.2022 req uested explaining all \ 3 5N, J wP 6102 2025 the specific reasons however the petitioners did not receive any response to the said representation dated 29'04'2022 issued in response to the impugned letter dated 13.04'2022 by the 5th respondent herein to the petitioners. Thereafter, the petitioners made another representation dated L4.08.2024 to the respondent No.3 which had been acknowledged by the office of the 3'd respondent herein. However, no orders have been passed on the said representation by the respondents as on date and the respondents are proceeding to disconnect the electricity supply vlde No.83008797 of the petitioners herein' Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners filed the present writ petition'

Learned Standing Counsel for TGSPDCL, appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.2 to 4 upon instructions submits that the respondents would pass appropriate orders on petitioners' representation dated 29.04.2022 submitted to the 5th respondent herein in reply to the impugned letter dated 13'04'2022 issued to the petitioners and also to the representation dated 14.08.2024 oF the petitioners herein given to the 3'd respondent herein. The learned Standing Counsel further submits that the writ petition could be disposed of directing the respondent Nos'5 and 3 herein to pass appropriate orders on petitioner's l I t 4 representations dated 29.O4.2OZZ and 14.08.2024 respectively within a reasonable period in accordance to law. 14.08.2024 addressed to respondent No.3 herein, in accordance to law, in conformity with the principles of natural justice by providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the above exercise is initiated and concluded I i and appropriate orders passed by the respondent Nos.s and 3 herein upon the petitioners'representations dated
29.04.2022 and 14.O8.2024 within the time period as indicated as above, as per the specific directions as issued as above, the respondents shall not initiate any coercive steps against the petitioners including disconnection of electricity supply to the subject premises of the petitioners i.e. Aditya Suncrest Flat Owners Association, Plot Nos.78, 1O6 and 45, Veterinary Colony, Hyderabad. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
