HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K.C. BHANU W.P.No.18618 of 2005 ORAL ORDER: This writ petition is filed seeking a Mandamus declaring the action of the 2n d respondent in not providing police protection petitioner’s land from the 5th respondent and his men or any other person, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Home and the learned counsel for the impleaded respondents 6 to 15 and perused the material placed on record. An appropriate decision has to be taken by the 2nd respondent on the complaint dated 2.8.2005 filed by the petitioner if it makes out a cognizable offence which shall be registered as a case under Section 154 Cr.P.C. Therefore, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, I consider it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent appropriate decision on the complaint lodged by the petitioner if it makes out a cognizable offence. The writ petition is disposed of in terms of the above direction. No costs. ______________
