The cas6 of the petitioners is that their great- grandfather, late Dharam Chand Chodaman' is the for.rnder of Sri Mahadevji and Hanurnanji Temple' which has been in existence for 2OO ye€rrs, situated at ? l i I i i l 2 l4-6-2'.3a, (lhudibazar, Hyderabad. The said {irct was recorde<l cn 15.05.1979 by the Inspector (Su rvey) of the Endovrrnents Departrnent, Hyderabad, under Sectiorr 3{l of Act 17 of )966. After the d,:ath of Sri tthar,rm Chand Chodarnan, his gr:-mdson, Sri S. C.hal1anlal, became the hereditaqr truste,: of the temple, and a certificate dated 23.05. 1979 was issued to ap1: rovr: this fact. Subsequent to the dcath of Sri S.Ohag;anlal, his son, Sri S.Parasram Sahu, was recognized as a member of the founder fam ly and took c are of the day-to-day affairs of the ternple without r nterruption. This was approrr,::d by responcL,lnl. No.3 on 1O.O5.2OO4, and he contir.Lued in this role rrntil his death on 03.08.2023. Afr.er the death of Sri S. Parasrarn Sahu, petitioners. alorrg with ottrer farnill members, have been managilrg tlLe day- to-day :lffairs of the temple without ar-ly inter.,,ention from or.rtsick:rs and with their own funds. Flrrth,lrmore, petitioners submitterl a repres€ntation on 25.07.2024 to respondent \os. 3 I I 3 arrd 4 , requesting recognition as the legal heirs of late Sri S. Parasram Sahu- In response, respondent No' 4 directed the petitioners to attend an inqrnry on Ll.lt.2024, with the relevant documents' Petitioners attended the inquiry and provided the necessarJr' documents. Subsequently, respondent No' 3 issued a letter dated 1O.12.2024, directing respondent No' 4 to obtain "No Objection" frorn the applicants for further necessary action. Petitioners a-lso sr'rbmitted an application on 25.O7 -2024, providing all relevant documents. However, respondent No'3 failed to consider the said application. Therefore, the present writ petition is filed.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks a direction to the respondent authorities to dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 25'O7 '2024 within a time-bound Period.
