SRIN|VAS GANGTSHETTT Counsel for the Respondents No.1 to 4: GP FOR REVENL,E The Court made the following: ORDER 7 * o * j * I * a f .t j. f t a , a f * I I a * r; HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE LAXMI NARAYANA AIISHETTY WRIT PETITION N0.6236 of 2023 ORDER: This writ petition is filed to deciare the action of respondents in not disposing online applications submitted by petitioners for mutation of their names in revenue records as illegal, arbitrary and in violation of Article 3OO-A of the Constitution of India and consequently, to direct the respondent No.4 to consider the same and pass appropriate orders.
2. Heard Sri G.Srinivas, learned Counsel for petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenuc.
3. Learned Counsel for the petitioners would submit that originally, one Raghavendra Chary, who is great grandfather of petitioners herein is thc owner and possessor of lands admeasuring . Learnt'd Counsel for petitioners would furtlrc sullmit that Tahsildar, Il>rahimpatnam, made spe cific observir ion that the names of Vittal Rao, Panduranga Rao, Harinarrt" Ltla l?'ro and Srinivas Rac, rvere mistakenly incorporated in rcsp' r:t ol subjcct property. In f:rcl, they have reported no objectiorr I rr clclt:lion ol I,NA,.] Ltt.l'.No.6236 o/ 2023 J their names. Therefore, Tahsildar directed the V.R.O delete the said names and restore the original entries in the revenue records; that in view of directions given by Tahsildar, the name of great grandfather of petitioners i.e., Raghavendra Chary was recorded in revenue records. Subsequently, petitioners have submitted oniine applications uide E-Challans i) CP 21O0013445, dated 17.11.2027 to the extentof Ac.0-0775 gts in Sy.No.831, ii) CP 2100013441, dated 17.112021 to the extent of Ac.O-O775 in Sy.No.83 1 E, iii) CP 2100O13440, dated 17 .11.2021 to the extent of Ac.0-0775 gts in Sy.No.83 I EE and iv) CP 2100013446, dated 17.ll.2o2l to the extent of Ac.O- 0775 gts in Sy.No.831 AA, for muiation of their names. Despite receiving and acknowledging the said applications, respondent Nos.4 did not act upon the samc, therefore, [he present Writ Petition.
