J HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NAGESH BHEEMAPAKA WRIT PETITI ON No.5461 of 2025 ORDER: The petitioner is the resident of Raikal village, Farooqnagar mandal, Ranga Reddy District. It is his case that the 4tt' resporident-Sri Ramalingeshwara Swamy Temple, Jogammaguda Rameshwaram village, Raikal, Farooknagar mandal, Ranga Reddy District is a famous temple in the District of Ranga Reddy and Mahabubnagar, and the temple comes under the Endowments Department. It is stated that the temple is in an extent of 75 acres of land in Survey No.33, 36, 37, and 38 of Jogammaguda village. It is his grievance that in the temple premises, respondents 8 to 13 are creating nuisarce by selling alcoholic beverages, toddy, liquor and meat in the temple land thereby the sanctity of the temple is being compromised. Petitioner and others gave a representation to 6th respondent Commissioner, Excise and Prohibition Department, Hyderabad, but no action was forthcoming. \ i
2. Heard Mr. D. Sudarshan Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Government Pleader for Endowments. Perused the record. I ,
3. Learned Government Pleader places on record the instructions received from Assistant Commissioner, Endowments Department, Ranga Reddy, wherein it is stated at paragraph 6 as follows: "6. lt is submitted that the respondent No.4, immediately after getting information the alleged sale of Toddy/liquor, gutkha, have given notices to all the temporary shops which are abufting the subject 2 wp 5461 2025 N8K, J temple endowed properties on date A2.02.2025, and also given a written complaint dt. 11.02.2025, to the sub-inspector, Excise Department, Farooqnagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District and also to the circle inspector, Excise Department, Farooqnagar mandal, Ranga Reddy District."

Taking on record the written instructions of the Assistant Commissioner, Endowments Department that notices have been given to all the shops abutting the temple premises, the writ petition is disposed of witll a direction to the 6m respondent- Commissioner, Excise and Prohibition, and 7e respondent-Circle Inspector, Excise and Prohibition, to take appropriate action forthwith on receiving any such information of alleged sale of toddy/ liquor in the temple premises.
