3. I have heard Mr.R.Laxmikanth Reddy, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 6

The Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submitted that the police have not interfered with the petitioner's peaceful possession of the land situated in Survey No. 29/1, admeasuring Ac. 5.62 guntas, at Koutala Village an$ '- Mandal, Adilabad District. However, this Court, by its interim order dated 19.O4.20L6, directed the respondent police 2 authorities not to interfere either in civil disprt .es or with the petitioner's possession of the subject lan,i unless such interference is legally warranted. Even in circur tstances where action may be justified, the Court emphasizec that the police must strictly adhere to the procedure establishe r, by law

Having considered the submissions adva-:ed and taking into account the interim direction already ,;'anted by this Court, it is evident that the grievance of the 1> rtitioner stands sufficiently addressed by the said orcl,rr. In these circumstances, this Court finds it appropriatt to make the interim direction absolute and to dispose of e writ petition accord ing ly.

Consequently, the respondent police ruthorities are hereby directed not to interfere either in civil c isputes or with the possession of the petitioner over the subl::t land, except where such interference is legally warrantec.
