2. This Criminal Petition is frled.under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings against tJle petitioner herein in SC SPL. No.148 of 2022 pending on the file of Special Sessions Court for trial of SCs/STs (POA) Act Cases at Nalgonda.

3. Petitioner herein is the sole accused in the present case. The offences alleged against the petitioner herein KI,J I.A.Nos.l and2 of 2024 in/and Crlp.No.l696 of 2023 2 are under Section 504 of the Indian Penal Code (for short T.P.CJ and Section 3 (1) (r) (u) of the SCs/STs (POA) Amendment Act, 2015.

4. During pendency of the present Crimina-l Petition, both the petitioner and respondent No.2 have settled disputes and entered joint Memo, dated 18.03.2024. In the joint Memo they have specifically stated that with the interference of the well wishers and elders olboth parties, they have settled the matter amicably out of the Court. Respondent No.2 intending to withdraw the said complaint. Therefore, they have filed I.A.Nos.l and 2 of 2024 seekrng to record the compromise and compound the offences

Considering the said fact, vide order, dated L3.O3.2O25, this Court directed both the petitioner and respondent No.2 to appear before the Secretar5r, Telangana High Court L,egal Services Committee for their identification. They have appeared before the Secreta4r, KL,J I.A.Nos.1 and2 of 2024 inland Crlp.No.1696 of 2023 3 High Court Legal Services Committee, who in turn hled a report, dated 22.03.2025. The same is placed on record. Considering the said aspects, I.A.Nos. I and 2 of 2024 are allowed.

6. This Criminal Petition is allowed ald the proceedings in SC SPL. No.148 of 2022 pending on the file of Special Sessions Court for trial of SCs/STs (POA) Act Cases at Nalgonda are quashed against the petitioner herein alone in terms of joint Memo, dated 18.03.2024. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Criminal Petition shall stand closed. //TRUE COPY// SD/. V.
