2. None appears for the petitioner.

3. Heard Mr. D.Pradeep, learned Assista rt Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Assistant Government Ple a ler, on written instructions, submits that, based on the rePrert entations of the petitioner, Crime No. 25 of 2Ol8 and Crime No. 26 of 2OlB were registered. As part of the investigation, the peti ioner's presence was secured, and he was directed to furnir;. L details of the property tax pertaining to the disputed house 5 roperties. It was subsequently revealed ttrat the ovunership of the said properties is the subject matter of civil disputes in O.S. No. 21O of 2Ol7 on the file of the learned II Additional Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy District, and O.S. No. 94 of 20lg on the file of the learned IX Additional Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy District. Hence, the contention that the respondent-police are interfering with the petitioner's possession and enjoyment of the subject properties is untenable. In the absence of any material substantiating such interference, the learned Assistant Government pleader prays for dismissal of the writ petition. I have perused the material available on record.

5. 6 . The petitioner contends that the respondent- police authorities, particularly respondent Nos. 5 and 6, are interfering in the civil disputes between the petitioner and the unofficial respondents, which are already the subject matter of O.S. No. 2lO of 2Ol7 on the frle of the learned II Additiona.l Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy District, and O.S. No. 94 of 2Ol8 on the file of the learned IX Additional Senior Civil Judge, Ranga Reddy District. 7 . Having regard to the said assertion and kt:r ping in view the well-settled principle that the police have no rc'l : to play in civil disputes, even when any criminal proceedings z Court finds it appropriate to issue necer; re pending, this rary directions. Accordingly, respondent Nos. 5 and 6 are directe I to refrain from interfering in the civil disputes between the pt Litioner and the unoflicial respondents in any manner. However', it is made clear that any action taken by the Police autht,r ities strictly in accordance with law and by following due pro,: rss shall remain unaffected.

8. With the above said direction, this writ pr:r ition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, sh dl stand closed. SD'. M. NAGAMANI ASS ISTANT REGISTRAR //TRUE COPY// CTION OFFICER To,
