Th a r a d r u nder: "...to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus by declaraing the action of respondents in proposing to forcibly lay 400 KV line through the lands of the petitioners in Sy. Nos. 459/l (Ac.2-30 gts), 459/tl2 (Ac' 2-00) and 45913 (Ac. 2-29 gts) of Palvancha Village and Mandal' without payment of any compensation and acquisition as being illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to pay compensation as per law before laying 400 KV Transmission Line through the lands of the 2 SN_J wp_3597 2018 petitioners and to pass such other or further orders in the interest of justice.,,
3. The case oF the petitioners, in brief, is that the petitioners are the farmers and they own agricultural land in palvancha Village, Bhadradri-Kothagudem District. The respondents are laying a 400 KV power transmission line from palvancha to power Grid, Padamata Narsapuram. The respondents unilaterally changed the original alignment of the transmission line, whir:h will now pass through the petitioners' rand, rendering it unfit For cultivation and commercial use and the petitioners were not paid any compensation for the land despite the petitioners being entifled to it. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners filed the present writ petition.

This Cou rt, vide its order dated 2L.O2 .2o1a, Dass ed I .No. of2 18 f observtno asu nder: "It is submitted by learned Standing Counsel for Telangana State Transco that the amount of c:ompensation as assessed by the Department has already been paid to the petitioners. In view of the above, in the event of the petitioners not being satisfied with the amount of compr:nsation paid \ J SNJ w?_3 597_2018 to them, they are at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law. However, pendency of the Writ Petition shall not be construed as depriving the petitioners of their right to seek appropriate remedies' Notice. "
