MADHAVI DEVI WRIT PETITTON NO.3816 OF 2024 ORDER In this Writ Petition, the petitioner is aggrieved by the orders of respondents 3 and 4 in refusing to grant time lor delivery of CMR rice by considering the petitioner's representations dt. l8.0 I .2024 and
03.02.2024.
2. Brief facts leading to the filing o[ the present Writ Petition are that the petitioner is a rice mill and it was supplied with CMR paddy for kharif 2022-23. However, the petitioner failed to suppty CMR rice lor kharif 2022-23 within the time allowcd and the last date lor delivery of the CMR rice for V,harif 2022-23 expired on 29.02.2024 (including the extended time). It is submitted that on 01.02.2024, when there was inspection of the rice mill, no stock of rice was found and therefore, action was sought to be taken against the petitioner and the petitioner had approached this Court by filing W.P.No. 1945 of 2024 and this Court had directed the respondents therein to consider the representation of the petitioner dt.18.01.2024 within a period ol two weeks from the 2 W.P. No 3816 of 2024 date of receipt ol a copy of the order. Therefore, thc representation of the petitioner for extension of time for supply of custorn milling rice was rejected vide memo dt.02.02.2024 and challenging the sarne, the present Writ Petition is filed
3. Vide interim order dt.14.02.2024, this Court had directed the respondents not to take any coercive steps against the 1r5.1i1[6n".r.
4. l'he 4'h lespondcnt has filed stay vacate pcrition along with counter affidavit stating that the petitioner has not (rc)mplied r.r,ith the tcnrrs and conditions of the agreement and has failed to supply the custom rnilting ricc even till date
5. Lcamed counsel for the petitioner submitted tlrt after obtaining the intcrim order, the petitioncr is not in touch with r im and he has no instructions as to the present status of the rice mill.

This Court observes that the petitioner har not shown any bonafides by making any payment with regard to tlrt. ;hortage of CMR rice to be supplied by the petitioner nor has he fitcd any detaits with regard to the same. Therefore, it appears that tlrr: petitioner is not interested to pursuc the Writ petition. ./ 3 W.P. No.38l6 o12024
7. The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
