OF tND|A The Court made the following: ORDER I THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NAMAVARAPU RAJESHWAR RAO w TPE TION No.35780F2o2s ORDER This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "...to issue writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents No.2 to 4 in considering the representations dated 22.01.2025, 23.O1.2025 and 31.01.2025 regarding non selection of the petitioner for the post of Assistant ,A' despite stood first in scoring marks in EWS category as arbitrary and iltegal and consequently direct respondents No.2 to 4 to consider the representations dated 22.01.2025,23.01.2025 and 31.01.2025 for selection to be made as per the original notification based on the marks scored in order of merit in EWS category and to pass such other order or orders may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. It is atso requested that, the Honorable High court may grant interim retief of status quo for further processing of recruitment for Assistant ,A, post under EWS category of the said notification pending disposal of this writ petition." Heard Sri Gudi Madhusudhan Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Gadi praveen Kumar, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India, for respondent Nos.1 to 4. perused the material on record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner applied for the post of Assistant ',A" under EWS category, pursuant to recruitment notification vide Advt. No.ARCI/HRD/RECT/2/2024, 2 dated 26.08.2024, issued by respondent Nos.2 to 4. The petitioner appeared for the computer-based examination on

22.09.2024 and secured L47 marks, ranking first in the EWS category. Further, the petitioner also passed the skill/typing test conducted by the respondents on 15.01.2025.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that on 22.01.2025, the respondents issued the final list of selected candidates. However, a candidate, who secured only 93 marks was selected for the post of Assistant "A" under the EWS category, while the petitioner, having secured 147 marks and standing first in the EWS category, was not selected. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representations on 22.01.2025, 23.OL.2025, and 31.01.2025 to the concerned respondents, requesting to consider his candidature for the post of Assistant "A" under the EWS category. So far, the respondents have not passed any orders on the said representations.

5. The'refore, learned counsel for the respondents submits that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition by directing the respondents to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner on 22.01.2025, 23.01.2025, and 31.01.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 3

6. In view of the above the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, the respondents are directed to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner on

22.01.2025, 23.01.2025, and 31.01.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
