THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.GOPAL REDDY THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.SWAROOP REDDY TAKEN UP W.P.No.17548 of 2007 Oral Order: (Per Hon’ble Sri Justice A.Gopal Reddy) The Telegram sent by one Asgari Begum to the Hon’ble the Chief Justice on 11-08-2007 was treated as taken up writ petition and notice was issued to the respondents to produce the alleged detenue, namely, Mohd. Jaffar Ahmed, who was alleged to be illegally detained by the Chatrinaka Police. In response to notice, the Circle Inspector of Police, Chatrinaka Police Station, Hyderabad—2nd respondent filed a counter stating that one Mohd. Javid lodged a private complaint before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, which was referred to the police under Section 156 Cr.P.C.; on which basis Cr.No.153 of 2007 was registered for the offence under Sections 468, 470, 471, 420, 120B r/w 34 IPC on 04-05-2007; in connection with the said crime, the alleged detenue (A1) along with accused No.2 was arrested on 13-08- 2007, produced before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate on 14-08- 2007 for remand. The learned Magistrate was pleased to remand the alleged detenue and other accused to judicial custody, who were initially lodged in Central Prison, Chenchalguda, Hyderabad and the alleged detenue was enlarged on bail.
