No. 11621 ot2024, on the fire of the XIV Additionat Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nampafly, Hyderabad, against the petitioners.

2. The petitioners are arrayed as accused Nos.1 and 2 in the calendar case registered for the offences punishabre under sections 118(2),221 ,224 read with Section 49 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'BNS, 2023') and section 1 g7 of the Motor vehicres Act. .l 988

3. Heard Dr.Challa Srinivas Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr.Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional public Prosecutor, representing the respondent No.1-state and Mr.Muthyara Venkatesh Guna, rearned counser for the respondent No.2tdeiacto complainant

Pending this petition, the parties have entered into the compromise and, accordingly, responde nr No.zl de-facfo complainant filed r.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 with the prayer to permit them to enter into compromise 2 ,\7',I{./ I l.|ro..2,tnd ) ol 202) tt/ und L.rl.l'..ro.l 6)0 al 2025 and by recording the settlement to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/accused in C.C.No.1 1621 oI 2024.

5. This Court vide ordet dated 03 03.2025 referred the parties to the High Court Legal Services Committee for identification and to verify the voluntariness in arriving the settlement. The Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, has submitted report dated 07.032025 stating that the parties are identified by their respective counsel and also on verification of Aadhar Cards/ldentity Cards and the enquiries reveal that the parties have willful and without coercion entered into settlemenUcompromise 6 I have considered the submissions of the learned counsel and perused the materials on record.

Having considered the allegations, the nature of charged offences and taking into account the amicable settlement between the parties and to restore peace between the parties, in the light of the dictums in Gian Singh v. Stafe of Punjab and anotherl and Anil Mishra v. State of tJ.P.2; State of Madhya Fradesh v. Laxmi Narayan and ofherss, this Court is- of the considered view that quashment of the impugned | 2012 (10) SCC 303 , 2024 INSC 189 I zo19 (5) scc 688 2 ,\'ni,/ L,1.Nor2 and ) o/ 202i in/and Crl.l'.No. t650 ol 2025 proceedings in view of the setflement by exercising jurisdiction under Section 482.Cr.pClS2B of BNSS,2023, would be in the interest of justice

Accordingry, rA.Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 are afiowed. consequenfly, all the proceedings in C.C.No..l 1621 of 2024, pending on the file of the XIV Additional Chief Judiciat tVtagistrate, Nampaily, Hyderabad, are hereby quashed against the petitioners/accused Nos.1 and 2. 9 ln the above terms, the Criminal petition is disposed of.
