LAKSHMAN WRIT PETITION No.3017 of 2025 ORDER: Heard Sri M.A. Mujeeb, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri R. Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent Nos.2 to 4.

Petitioner herein is claiming that he is the absolute owner and possessor of house bearing No.18- l3-717618/1, admeasuring 5,5 sq. yards, situated at Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad, on the strength of a notarised agreement of sale dated 02.05.1994. He has been paying property tax to respondent-corporation and he is in possession of the subject property. In proof of the same, he has filed copies of the agreement of sale, property tax receipt, passbook, etc. Even then, respondent Nos.3 and 4 are threatening to demolish the room and boundary wall of the subject property without following the due procedure laid down under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955 (for short, 'the Act, 1955'). Challenging the said action of respondent Nos.3 and 4, the petitioner has filed the present writ petitron. 1 2

It is lurther r.tated that 3 on receipt of information from the Tahsildar, he will take action against the petitioner herein in accordance with the procedure laid down under the Act, 1955. 5. On instructions, leamed Standing counsel would further submit that the Tahsilclar, Bandlaguda has already demolished the compound tn the light of the aforesaid submissions' this Writ Petition ts

6. disposed of directing respondent No'4 to consider the complaint.dated 30.01.2025 and report from the Tahsildar' Bandlaguda and take action against the petitioner herein strictiy in accofdance with the procedure laid down under the Act, 1955. He shall complete the said exercise within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
