Learned counsel for the petitioner vehemently contended that as per Section 6 of the Telangana Record of Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 2O2O (for short, the ROR Act, 2O2O'1, the Tahsildar is conferred with the power to grant succession and survivorship and inheritance seeking to effect change in record of rights after arriving at consensus arnong all the legal heirs on the manner of division of the land among themselves. When such an application is being made, the Tahsildar can amend the record of rights by duly incorporating the names of the petitioner and his siblings in terms of the family consensus settlement deed entered between the family members. Learned counsel for the petitioner further contended that in terms of the said provisions, the petitioner made an online application uide Application No.24OO772578 dated 1O.12.2024 for succession and mutation of his name in the revenue records'
