Sri Mohammed Abdul Shabbeer, Senior Manager - Legal Claims for the Appettant/Respondent No.3-lnsurance Company and the Petitioner/ Claimant/ Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 atong with their counsel have appeared before the Lok Adatat. During the pendency of this Appeat, the Appettant/ lnsurance Company and the Petitioners/ C[aimants/ Respondents have entered into a setttement and in pursuance of the same, the Appeltant/ lnsurance Company has agreed to pay an amount of Rs.12 ,75,OOO1 - (Rupees Twelve lakhs seventy five thousand only) towards futl and fina[ setttement of the ctaim, apart from the amount already deposited and the Respondents/ Petitioners/Ctaimants have agreed to receive the same towards futl and finat settlement of their ctaim. Accordingty, the compromise is recorded and the case is settted before the Lok Adatat. ln view of the above settlement, the AppeUant/lnsurance Company shatt deposit the above said amount within two (2) months from the date of receipt of copy of Award. ln the event of defautt or delay in making such deposit, the Respondents/ Petitioners/Claimants are entitled to claim interest as awarded by the lower tribunat from the date of defautt.
