This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri K Shrikanth, Advocate for the Petitioners and Ms S Maffivi, Assistant Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent No.1 and of Sri Rohith Kumar Sattu, Advocate for the Respondent No.2. The Court made the following Order : I I I I THE HON'BLE SHRI JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR JUKANTI I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2025 1n and CRIMINAL PETITION No.878 of 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition is liled under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (for short tsNSS) by the petitior-rers/ accused Nos.1 and 2 to quash the proceedings against them in F.I.R.No.357 of 2024 on the file of Regonda Police Station, Jayashankar Bhupalpally District. The offences alleged against petitioners are under Section 85 of BharatiyeL Nvaya Sanhita (for short 'BNS') and Sections 3 and 4 of Do,.vry Prohibition Act (for short 'DP Act').

2. Hearcl Mr. K. Shrikanth, learned counsel for petitioners, Mr. Rohith Kumar Sattu, learned counsel for respondent No.2 and Ms. S. Madhavi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. I)erused the material on re t:ord.

3. lt is submitted by learned counsel(s) appearing for petitioners arlcl o:grondent No.2, that during pendency of present Criminal Petition, parties have _expressed willingness ...,, t i 2 JAK, J CRLP 878 2025 to compromise the matter and compromised. I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2025 are filed to record and permit compromise of the matter between parties. I.A.Nos.3 and 4 are ordered.

A Joint Memo is alnexed along with I.A.No.4 of 2025, wherein it is stated as follows: "It is submitted that during the pendency of the above said case, at the intervention of the elders ald well-wishers and more patticularly keeping in view of the bright future of the children, the matter has been amicably settled and the petitioner and 2"d respondent herein have decided to stay together and lead happy marital life along with their children and the 2"a respondent has agreed to withdraw the said case and pendency of the said case would create hurdies in their marital life. In view of the said settlement, no purpose would be served in continuing the above proceedings."

Having perused the Joint Memo, this Court queried the counsel(s) for both parties ald learned counsels stated across the Bar that they received instructions from petitioners/ accused Nos.1 and 2 and respondent No.2 parties that they have been living together under the same roof and settled the differences and disputes amicably on the advice of elders. That, there is no necessity for further adjudication in the matter. 3 JAt(i CRLP 878 2025

A report is filed by High Court Legal Services Committee that accused Nos.1 ald 2 and respondent No'2 were duly identified in presence of their counsels and both parties willfully, without coercion entered into compromise. 7 . In vie'*. of the submissions made across the Bar, Joint Memo filed (annexed along with I.A.No.4 of 20241, report of I the High Court Legal Services Committee, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders need to be passed in this matter.

Needless to state that in view of the compromise between parties, this criminal petition stands allowed and proceedings against the petitioners/accused Nos.1 and 2 in F.I.R.No.357 of 2024 on the file of Regonda Police Station, Jayashankar Bhupalpally District are hereby quashed.
