The Court made the following: ORDER j .,.,=ry TIIE HON'BLE SHRI JUSTI CE ANIL KUMAR JUKANTI I.A.Nos.3 ard.4 of 2025 ln and CRIMINAL PETITION No.9O6 of 2025 ORDER: This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (for short 'BNSS) by the petitioners/accused Nos.2 and 3 to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.24O of 2Ol9 on the hle of I Additional Junior Civil Judge-cum-I Additiona-l Judicial First Ciass Magistrate, Malkajgiri, Malkajgiri-Medchal District. The offences alleged against petitioners are under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code (for short 'IPC') and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act (for short DP Act')'
2. Heard Mr. Dantu Venkata Ramana Sarma, learned counsel for petitioners, Mr. Mohammad Saleem. learned counsel for respondent No.3 and Ms. S. Madhavi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State' Perused the material on record'
3. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing for petitioners and respondent No.3, that during pendency of the I 2 JAK. J CRLP 906 2025 present Criminal Petition, parties have compromised the matter, I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2025 h.ave been filed to record and permit them to compromise the matter to compound the offences. I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2025 xe ordered.
4. A Joint Memo is annexed along with I.A.No.4 of 2O2S in this criminal petition. When the matter was heard, it was representerl by learned counsel for petitioners/ accused Nos.2 and 3 that accused No.l, their son passed away. Both accused Nos.2 and 3 are senior citizens and are residents of Ongole and they cannot be physically present for identification. This Court directeci the High Court Legal Services Committee to a_rrange lor their appearance through virtual mocle (video conference).

A report has been filed by High Court Legal Services Committee that accused Nos.2 and 3 have appeared through virtual mode (video conference) from counsels Mobile No.9666630230 to Mobile No.98667 13734. Their Aadhar cards were verified and identified. It is further stated in the report that both parties have willfully and without any coercion entered into the compromise. Compromise deed 3 JAK, J cRI-P 906 2025 dated 23.01.2O25 is placed on the file of this Court. It is observed that both parties have signed the terms of compromlse

In view of the Joint Memo filed (annexed along with I.A.No.4 ol 20241, the compromise deed (on a non-judicial stamp paper) and the report of the High Court Legal Services Committee, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders need to be passed in this matter. 7 . Needless to state that in view of the compromise, this criminal petition stands allowed and the proceedings against the petitioners/accused Nos.2 and 3 in C.C.No.24O of 2Ol9 on the file of I Additional Junior Civil Judge-cum-I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Malkajgiri, Malkajgiri- Medchal District are liable to be qudshed and hereby quashed.
