It is settled larv that once pattadar passbooks are issued, the classification of the entries made in the revenue records correctly depicts the nature of the lands, and without conducting enquiry, the respondcnt authoriLies are not having any power to delete the cxtent of the lands mentioned in the earlier pattadar passbooks.

In view of the above, since it is the case of the petitioner that respondent No.2 has not issued an-v, notice before passing proceedings datcd 06.0 i.2023, this u,rit petition is allowed by setting aside the proceedings datcd 06.01.2O23 issued by respondent No.2 and the matter is remanded back to respondent No.2 for conducting fresh enquiry after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all the other interested/ effected parties, and pass a reasorled order in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
